Erica has always been passionate about diabetes with a particular interest in providing culturally competent diabetes care. “It is important that we recognize the impact that culture has on self-care management in diabetes. By better understanding of different cultural practices, my hope is to provide care that will lead to improvement in individual self –management behaviors and health outcomes.”

Erica has participated in clinical research and has authored articles on post pancreatic surgery diabetes. As an expert educational lecturer, Erica has contributor to continued education to the field of nursing both nationally and internationally. Erica has also contributed to future nurses as a clinical preceptor.

Erica Hall received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2002.

In 2008, she received her Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University.

She is Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner by American Nurses Credentialing Center

In 2011 she became a certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), credentialed by the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education.
